Mabel Moreno - Honduras
This fun coffee comes from the farm La Sierra based in Santa Barbara, Honduras. Coffee is produced by Mabel Moreno, son of Daniel Moreno and member of the Moreno family. Mabel is a third generation coffee producer.
This coffee is Pacas variety grown at around 1450 meters above sea level. Coffee is pulped, then fermented for 24 hours, washed and dried on raised beds for 1 day during which time the coffee is hand sorted for defects. The final drying is done on a solar dryer for 10-15 days. The coffee is stirred every 30-60 minutes to ensure even drying.
