Gitwe - Burundi
This exciting coffee comes from Heza washing station located in Kayanza, Burundi. Coffee is produced by small farmers near the Gitwe hill. Gitwe and Heza washing station are part of the Long Miles Coffee Project.
This coffee is Red Bourbon variety grown at around 1859-2086 meters above sea level. Farmers deliver coffee cherries to the washing station where the coffee is processed. Coffee is pulped, washed and dried on raised beds for 15 days.
